It allows you to explore what it’s like to be in a school and teaching kids without having to confront every single challenge by yourself. Also, you will meet some of the most incredible people in the world.

Although Blue Engine may sound like a difficult experience (which it definitely is), challenging yourself allows you to grow immensely as a person. Living on a small stipend only adds to the gratification you get from impacting the lives of so many students. Additionally, being part of such a young organization allows for so much input on the daily activities and function of your classroom, and the larger organization as a whole. Take a year and give back!
